Why do you enjoy being an ASCE member?
I enjoy being a member of ASCE because it facilitates professional development and allows me to network with other engineers, clients, and colleagues
What is your favorite event of ASCE YMF?
The events that I appreciate most that the YMF participates in are the volunteer events, like Three-Square. In our field, I feel we are all so fortunate and giving back to our community is very important
What is an engineering project you're proud of?
The engineering project I am most proud of is Brown & Caldwell’s Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD) project Sandhill Interceptor. The design included nearly a mile of 60-inch trunk sewer; including seven water-tight tunnel shafts from 30 feet to 50 feet deep, a large diversion structure, and dewatering wells for open cut sections. This project is currently in construction and will serve as a permanent bypass for the existing interceptor sewer
