How has ASCE impacted your work and/or what is your favorite benefit of your involvement?
I am ASCE YMF member because allows me to grow and develop my leadership skills while expanding my network and making me a better engineer.
What has been your favorite ASCE event since you got involved?
Every event i have been involved with could be listed, but if I had to narrow it down it would be attending the Younger Member Leadership Symposium. This symposium helped build my career by focusing on soft skills such as communication styles, emotional intelligence, project management, difficult conversations, and public speaking. In addition, I was able to develop strong friendships with almost every singe attendee. Highly recommended conference you do not want to miss!
What person, living or dead, would you most like to meet?
I would like to meet Kobe Bryant, his work ethic and drive are what really inspired me to do so much in my career and he's the GOAT.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be?
I don't remember exactly what I wanted to be but at some point it was something to do with cars and at another point I wanted to be a SWAT officer.
What technical project have you worked on and/or technical skill would you like to highlight and let our members know about you?
One of my favorite projects was when I got the opportunity to model the water system for the entire city of Boulder City. That was an extremely difficult challenge and really helped me understand how an entire water system works.
