What is an engineering project you're proud of?
I had the opportunity to work at the Port of Alaska for a couple of years to oversee the construction of a new Petroleum and Cement Terminal in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2020 our team oversaw the installation of 71 each (48”) diameter piles for the foundations and approaches to the new Petroleum and Cement Terminal and in 2021 we installed nine each (144”) diameter mooring and breasting dolphin piles. The 144” piles weighed between 255 tons and 311 tons each. These piles were installed in the fourth largest tidal conditions on earth, ranging 30’ +/- twice a day. The superstructure of the terminal was assembled by a series of precast concrete blocks, knitted together with massive cast-in-place concrete pours.  Both the piling and the superstructure were supported by templates and falsework which needed to be constructed to support these permanent works.
Fun fact about Meshkat:
I was the youngest person in the world when I was born.
