About Suchan:
Suchan Lamichhane currently serves as Assistant Branch Manager for UES in the Las Vegas office. Suchan has more than 15 years of experience in consultation and another 5 plus years of experience in research in the field of geotechnical engineering, with the last 5 years of experience in the management and leadership role. He holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Geotechnical Engineering – both from his home country Nepal, and a Ph.D. in Civil (Geotechnical) and Environmental Engineering from UNLV. He has experiences in a broad spectrum of geotechnical engineering projects both in public and private sectors. His project experiences include transportation infrastructures, power generation and transmission infrastructures, public utility infrastructures, oil and gas facilities, airport facilities, railway facility, and various private, public, commercial and industrial vertical construction including high-rise buildings. Suchan is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in Nevada, Arizona and Wyoming, and is a member of ASCE and APWA, and an active member plus current President of National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Southern Nevada Chapter.
