What made you join the LV YMF Board?
As an international student from India, I am extremely grateful that I was able to attend one of the top universities in the United States. Now that I have finished my graduate studies, I believe it is time to give back to the community of civil engineers by mentoring them and educating them about the remarkable engineering in civil. I feel this forum offers invaluable opportunities for networking, professional development, and contributing to impactful projects within the Southern Nevada region. Being part of this dynamic group also aligns with my commitment to fostering sustainable and resilient communities through civil engineering.

How did you get into Civil Engineering?
My journey into civil engineering was like an ascending graph. From a young age, I was captivated by the intricacies of infrastructure—how bridges, roads, and buildings are designed and constructed. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in civil engineering. Hands-on experiences through internships and academic projects solidified my passion for the field, later I completed my master’s in construction management and technology, and I am now dedicated to applying my knowledge to create green and robust infrastructure in Southern Nevada.
